Our Terms & Conditions

We hope you enjoy your experience at Sharkra.

Our Terms & Conditions are in place to reduce the occurrence of client no shows so we can offer as many appointments as possible and fairly to clients, and to ensure a relaxing environment and experience for everyone.

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS & FEES:

  1. ​A CANCELLATION FEE applies to cancellations or no shows within 24 hours of your appointment (50% of the booked treatment cost).
  2. We send confirmation texts the day before appointments – PLEASE REPLY “YES” TO CONFIRM your appointment or we may cancel it.
  3. A NON-REFUNDABLE 50% DEPOSIT is required for new clients to book appointments of 60+ minutes and exisiting clients to book appointments of 90+ minutes. Appointments CANNOT be held without a deposit.
  4. A 10% fee applies to services on Saturdays (excluding bridal party makeup).
  5. A 20% Senior Therapist Fee applies to services with Tanya Ahmed, Karla Wilson and Gabrielle Poulson (excluding brow tattooing, laser, needling, dermaplaning, lash extensions and gel nails).

TREATMENTS & PRODUCTS:

  1. Treatment and product prices are subject to change at any time without prior notification.
  2. Treatment results will vary for every client.
  3. Sharkra Medi Spa will not be held accountable for any undesirable treatment outcomes or accidents where advice and/or procedures have not been correctly followed by the client, or where contra-indications have not been disclosed to Sharkra by the client.​
  4. Sharkra Medi Spa reserves the right to cease treatment at any stage (including during an appointment) if circumstances become unsafe for the client and/or therapist.
  5. Treatments may require alterations or may be cancelled and charged if clients are more than 10 minutes late to appointments.

GIFT VOUCHERS & REWARDS:

  1. Gift vouchers are redeemable for treatments and/or products, Monday - Saturday.
  2. Regular gift vouchers expire 12 months from purchase date.
  3. Donation gift vouchers expire 3 months from issue date.
  4. Refunds or extensions are not available for any expired Sharkra gift vouchers.
  5. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for MINDBODY appointments.
  6. Our Sharkra Client Rewards (including loyalty, birthday, referral and review vouchers) are subject to change or discontinuation at any time without prior notification.

​SPECIALS & PACKAGES:

  1. Where several treatments are offered as part of a special or package, all treatments must be booked in the one appointment - treatments cannot be split over several appointments.
  2. Specials and packages cannot be modified, or treatments substituted.

CHILDREN:

  1. We love babies and children, and they are welcome to short appointments of 15 minutes only.
  2. We ask you to please arrive "child-free" to appointments longer than 15 minutes for your own experience and for other clients enjoying facial and massage treatments in the salon.

MOBILE DEVICES:

  1. Please turn mobile phones and tablet devices onto silent mode whilst at Sharkra.
