Amanda French is a keen and active member of the volunteer community in Hobart. She is the President of the Hobart branch of Make-A-Wish Australia and has been a volunteer with the branch for five years. She feels privileged to be able to help make sick children’s wishes come true and loves seeing the big smiles on their faces during this special time.
She also recently helped establish a new not for profit organisation in Tasmania called Dress for Success which will begin operating in early 2018. Dress for Success helps women who have been disengaged from the workforce get back into the workforce by supplying them with an outfit for interview and preparing them for the process. Clothes are donated by the public to dress the women.
Amanda is also employed full time by a large community sector not for profit where she works as their Business Development Consultant and gets to contribute to the amazing work of SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY.
Amanda was married in Hobart 12 months ago, where Karla and the Sharkra team made sure she was looking great for her big day!
